No, this is not about Harry Porter. Recently, one of our global mentors referred to us, a 13-year old girl student who is academically high-achieving and very ambitious. Apparently, this student is already pursuing a bachelor’s degree in science, and is aspiring to be a doctor when she grows up. We found an amazing mentor for her from our extensive global network of mentors, who lives in the same town as the girl. Our mentor visited this student few days ago and was amazed to learn that the girl and her family live below the staircase on the top most floor of a local school. Our mentor spent about 90 minutes with the girl and came away very inspired and with just one thought – this girl's aspiration must be nurtured and shown the right path to become real. MentorCloud’s mission is to ‘Accelerate Aspirations.’ There are hundreds of millions of aspirants like this - in elite places like Silicon Valley as much as in remote corners of Africa and Asia. Magic happens when we engage them with experienced and passionate mentors, locally or from anywhere in the world. If you found this interesting, perhaps you will enjoy these too:
